Stress vs anxiety, we often hear these words used interchangeably. While their definitions are similar, it’s important we get clear on their fundamental difference.
Stress is a response to an external cause like an impending deadline or difficult exam. It subsides once the situation is resolved.
Anxiety is an internal feeling of apprehension or dread that doesn’t ease, even in the absence of external stressors.
Remember getting your body moving well and then keeping it moving well is a great way to manage stress and anxiety.
