- cut down your portions
- don’t eat meat
- you need to eat meat
- cut out dairy
- dairy is high in calcium, you need calcium
- be vegan
- don’t take supplements
- take supplements
- try Keto
- try Atkins
- try Paleo
- try 5-2
- don’t eat after 5pm
- eat before 7pm
- do Low-fat
- do Low-calorie
- do Low-carb
- don’t eat carbs at all
… The list of ‘advice’ goes on yet two-thirds of Australian adults are overweight or obese. The severity of misinformation is real.
We need to get back to basics.
A simple but lasting ‘rule of thumb’ to contain the cascading health problems resulting from an overweight population.
We’ve put it down to one guideline or four words that account for all of the above – and here they are.
Don’t eat processed shit.
What is natural, whole food?
Whole food is food that comes from the ground, the ocean, a tree or an animal – and as is as unprocessed as safely possible. It generally doesn’t come in a packet and it definitely isn’t produced in a factory.
Natural, whole food is tasty, it’s healthy and it’s hard to ‘over eat’. It’s perfect.
