Who we help

HomeWho we help

Not everyone seeks help for the same reasons.

Some people want to get back to sport without flare-ups. Some are tired of feeling stiff and sore after long days at work. Some are starting to notice their body feels older than it should. Others are trying to stay active while juggling work, family, stress and everything else life throws at them.

This page is here to help you recognise some of the more common people, patterns and life situations we work with — so you can see what feels most like you and where to go next.

You may relate to more than one of these

Some people relate to one of the situations below immediately. Others see parts of themselves across more than one. That is completely normal.

What matters most is not whether you fit any one group perfectly, but whether your body feels like it’s holding you back — and if so, having a clear sense of what to do next.

For those who spend long days on their feet looking after others

When you spend much of the day caring for others, it is easy to put your own body further down the list. You may be on your feet for hours, constantly moving, lifting, carrying, reaching or simply pushing through without much time to recover.

Over time, that can show up as neck pain, headaches, lower back tension or a body that feels more run down than it should. We often work with people in these kinds of roles who are not looking for fuss — they just want to feel better, move more freely and stop finishing each day feeling physically spent.

For those whose work is physical, repetitive or hard on their body

Some work places constant physical demand on the body. Repetitive movement, lifting, carrying, bending, climbing, awkward positions or long hours doing hands-on work can all add up over time.

For some people, the issue is one clear flare-up. For others, it is the accumulation of strain — lower back pain that keeps tightening up, shoulder pain that never quite settles or the body that feels like it is absorbing more than it can recover from. We often work with people who need their body to keep working reliably, not just feel better for a day or two.

For those feeling the effects of desk-bound, sedentary work

Sitting still for long periods can affect the body just as much as physical work. Long days at a desk brings its own stiffness, tension and low-grade discomfort that builds gradually and not all at once.

This can look like neck pain, headaches, postural strain, tight hips, lower back discomfort or a body that feels less mobile and less comfortable than it used to. We often work with people who feel the effects of sedentary work creeping in and want a clearer plan to help their body feel stronger, looser and more capable again.

For those trying to stay active without repeated setbacks

Some people are still moving, training and doing the things they enjoy — but it no longer feels as straightforward as it used to. Niggles keep returning, recovery is less reliable, and small flare-ups start getting in the way of consistency.

This might mean trying to get back to running, sport, gym training or simply staying active without the same issue resurfacing every few weeks. It might look more like sports injuries, injury recovery, or recurring shoulder pain, knee pain or lower back flare-ups that stop your body feeling reliable. We often work with people who do not want to stop moving — they just want their body to feel more reliable, more resilient and less like it is always one step away from another setback.

For those who want to stay capable, mobile and independent as they get older

For many people, the goal is not high performance — it is staying capable. Being able to move well, remain independent, keep up with daily life and continue doing the things that matter without feeling limited by pain, stiffness or reduced confidence in the body.

Sometimes this comes with age-related aches and slowing down. Sometimes it is the frustration of feeling less steady, less strong or less mobile than you expected. This may show up as hip pain, knee pain, recurring sciatica or reduced confidence in balance and movement. We often work with people who want to maintain their freedom, confidence and quality of life by keeping their body working well for as long as possible.

For those navigating pelvic and postural change through pregnancy or early motherhood

Pregnancy and early motherhood place real physical demands on the body. As posture changes, load shifts and daily life becomes more physically and emotionally demanding, it is common to notice new tension, discomfort or reduced ease through the lower back, pelvis, hips, ribs, neck or shoulders.

For some, the issue is pain. For others, it is more a sense that their body no longer feels balanced, supported or comfortable in the way it used to. This may overlap with pregnancy pain, pelvic discomfort, postural strain or lower back tension. We often work with women who want care that feels calm, appropriate and practical during this stage — with a focus on helping the body adapt, move better and feel more supported through change.

What many of these experiences have in common

Across all of these situations, the same frustrations often show up again and again — recurring flare-ups, ongoing tension, uncertainty about what is really driving the issue, or the sense that the body is becoming less reliable than it used to be.

What usually matters most is not finding a quick fix. It is getting clearer answers, understanding what is going on, and finding a more practical path forward.

For many, the goal is not perfection. It is confidence, better function, more ease in the body, and the sense that things can improve from here.
